Swedish Football striker Zlatan Ibrahimović recently got into a bit of a row with feminists over his comments in the media. They were in regards to comparing both men’s and women’s football records. His quotes were hilarious and also very honest.

However, in Sweden, which I must remind you is the epicentre of Feminism in Europe, the media lashed out at him as well as the coach of the Swedish women’s football team who labelled him “boring” and “sad”.

Now, let’s look at what he said.

Ibrahimovic spoke out after his country’s FA was slammed for presenting midfielder Anders Svensson with a new Volvo for breaking Thomas Ravelli’s record of 143 international caps. However, when women’s midfielder Therese Sjogran failed to get similar recognition at the same football gala despite earning a record 187 caps, the move was widely criticised.

Hey, it’s the same sports but honestly, we all know that men’s football gets much more viewership than women’s football (For all those raging feminists, I’m sure I don’t need to find an obvious statistic to point this out), so it’s little surprise why the records are more celebrated. I mean, I’m sure there’s lots of records for sports such as Bed Racing  but I don’t think your average person would care too much about that.

“With all respect for what the ladies have done, and they’ve done it fantastically well, you can’t compare men’s and women’s football. Give it up, it’s not even funny,”

Well done for keeping it together whilst delivering that praise! I’d struggle to.

“When I come out in Europe they compare me to [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo. When I come home they compare me to a female player. With all respect for the ladies, they should be rewarded in relation to what they generate [financially].

I’m sure if Usain Bolt was compared to a female runner he would be insulted too. Just like if you were compared to your sister in a physical-sense.

“I was asked [by Swedish media] in the summer who was the better player, me or [Sweden striker] Lotta Schelin. You’re joking with me, right? When I’ve broken all these records, this goal record, the goals in the national team, who shall I compare it to? Shall I compare it to whoever has the record, or the ladies?”

Fair point. Cause you know, you’d want to compare the world record for the 100 metre sprints for men and women to find out whose faster cause it isn’t clear enough.

You see, feminists forget one thing, men and women are biologically different, you simply cannot compare Apples and Oranges.

P.S. – I didn’t find any of his comments “sad” or “boring”
